Cementos Pacasmayo S.A.A. is a leading Peruvian cement company founded in 1949, specializing in the production, distribution, and sale of cement and related materials primarily in northern Peru. It manufactures cement, concrete blocks, ready-mix concrete, precast elements like paving units and bricks, and quicklime used in mining, steel, food, fishing, and chemical industries. The company operates three key production facilities: the flagship plant in Pacasmayo in the northwest, a newer plant in Piura, and a smaller facility in Rioja in the northeast, with a combined annual cement capacity exceeding 4.9 million tons. Complementing its core offerings, Cementos Pacasmayo distributes third-party construction supplies including steel rebar, wires, nails, corrugated iron, electric conductors, and plastic tubes through a network of over 130 independent retailers, hardware stores, and direct sales to construction firms. Classified in the basic materials sector and building materials industry, it plays a vital role in supporting Peru's booming construction and mining sectors, serving residential, commercial, civil engineering, and industrial needs from its headquarters in Lima. With approximately 1,976 employees, it remains the dominant cement producer in northern Peru.
